Culp & Son Quarry

Formerly known as Texas Limestone Inc., is a family operated limestone quarry owned by Richard Culp and his son Cameron Culp in Florence Texas. Richard Culp has been in stone business for the past 30 years. He began his career as a mason, serving his apprenticeship in Fort Hood Texas. He started his own operation, Culp Masonry. and then his first quarry, Culp Stone.

 

Cameron Culp joined his father as a mason, learning the trade and supervising their work crews, while Richard concentrated on running the quarry operation. In 1996 they decided to double their efforts at the quarry and left the masonry business behind.
